RESOLUTION 17-08
A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING MR. ALAN W. BELL (A GENTLEMAN'S
GENTLEMAN) FOR HIS YEARS OF SERVICE AS A MAITRE D', MANAGER,
GENERAL MANAGER & PRESIDENT AT LORD FLETCHER'S OLD LAKE
LODGE
WHEREAS, Mr. Alan W. Bell was an exceptional Maitre d', Manager, General Manager, and
President at Lord Fletcher's Old Lake Lodge from July, 1970 until October, 2003; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bell worked diligently to maintain a positive relationship between Lord
Fletcher's and the City; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bell maintained a commitment to making sure that the Restaurant was a good
neighbor to the many nearby residents; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bell has always maintained a friendly, generous, and professional disposition in
all of his interactions; and
WHEREAS, the City of Spring Park would like to thank Mr. Bell for his many years of service in
bettering our community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Spring Park hereby establishes March 29th, 2017 as Alan W. Bell Day in
the City of Spring Park.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Spring Park
hereby publicly recognizes and honors Alan W. Bell for his years of service to the community and
his many accomplishments over the course of his lifetime in serving others.
