RESOLUTION 16-07
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF A SUMMARY OF
ORDINANCE NO. 16-01
AMENDMENT AND REPLACEMENT OF CITY CODE
APPENDIX A — SCHEDULE OF FEES AND CHARGES
WHEREAS, at its meeting on January 4, 2016 the City Council adopted
Ordinance 16-01 the Amendment and Restatement of City Code Appendix A — Schedule
of Fees and Charges; and
WHEREAS, because of the length of the Ordinance, the City would like to
publish the title and a summary of the Ordinance rather than the entire Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, at its meeting on January 4, 2016, the City Council reviewed the
attached Summary of Ordinance No. 16-01 and determined that the publication of the
attached summary would clearly inform the public of both the intent and effect of the
Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing, it is hereby:
RESOLVED: the City of Spring Park hereby finds that the publication of the
title and a summary of Ordinance No. 16-01 will clearly inform the public of the intent
and effect of the Ordinance; and
FURTHER RESOLVED: the text of the attached Summary of Ordinance No.
16-01 is hereby approved as it clearly informs the public of the intent and effect of the
Ordinance; and
FURTHER RESOLVED: the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish the
attached Summary of Ordinance No. 16-01 in the City's legal newspaper in lieu of
publishing the Ordinance in its entirety.
