SUMMARY ORDINANCE NO. 16-03
A SUMMARY ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SPRING PARK CITY CODE,
CHAPTER 42, ZONING/SHORELAND ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH REGULATIONS
FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT AND REGULATION OF BREWPUBS AND
BREWERIES WITH TAPROOMS WITHIN THE C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT; C-2, SHOPPING CENTER DISTRICT; AND M, MANUFACTURING
DISTRICT WITHIN THE CITY OF SPRING PARK, MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 17, 2016, Ordinance No. 16-03
establishing regulations for brewpubs and breweries with taprooms within the C-1, General
Commercial District, the C-2, Shopping Center District, and the M, Manufacturing District was
adopted by the City Council of Spring Park, Minnesota. Due to the length of the ordinance, the
following summary ordinance has been prepared for publication.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the adopted amendment includes the following
components:
Chapter 42, Article 1, Division 2, Definitions.
Chapter 42, Article VIII, Division 5, C-1, General Commercial District was amended to list
brewpubs as a permitted use and add brewery/taproom as a conditional use permit. This
amendment includes performance standards for the conditional use permit.
Chapter 42, Article VIII, Division 6, C-2, Shopping Center District was amended to add
brewpubs as a permitted use and add brewery/taproom as a conditional use permit. This
amendment includes performance standards for the conditional use permit.
Chapter 42, Article VIII, Division 9, M, Manufacturing District was amended to add taprooms as
an accessory use to a brewery by conditional use permit. This amendment includes performance
standards for the conditional use permit.
A copy of the entire ordinance is available for inspection on the City of Spring Park website or a
printed copy is available at Spring Park City Hall. Any person may review the entire printed
ordinance during regular City Hall office hours.
