RESOLUTION 13-10
CONTINUATION OF FUNDING
WESTERN COMMUNITIES ACTION NETWORK (WeCAN)
WHEREAS the City of Spring Park has supported services for its residents via
WeCan as a community -based human service organization dedicated to helping
people achieve greater self-sufficiency and family stability, we support WeCan's
request for continuing allocation of Community Development Block Grant
(CDBG) funds; and
WHEREAS the City of Spring Park feels that the services provided by WeCan
are of great importance and should be continued; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Spring Park recommends to the
consolidated Pool Selection Committee that CDBG funding of WeCan be
continued.
