RESOLUTION 12-04
DATES OF MEETINGS, HOLIDAYS & OFFICE HOURS
WHEREAS, the City of Spring Park has established a program of dates for Council meetings,
Planning Commission and committee meetings; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has appointed Commissioners and committee members to represent
the City as a recommending body; and
WHEREAS, the meetings and committees will meet on specific dates as listed; and
WHEREAS, if these meetings and committee dates are changed unless listed below, they will be
announced at regular Council meetings;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Spring Park that the
following dates are designated for the purpose of such meetings:
1. Council Meetings will be held on the first and third Monday of each month at the Spring Park
City Hall at 7:30 p.m. unless they fall on a legal holiday in which case they will meet on the
• succeeding day. Those days in 2012 are January 3rd, January 171n, February 21st and September

2. Council study sessions will be held the fourth Monday of the month unless they fall on a legal
holiday in which case they will meet on the succeeding day. Those days in 2012 are May 29tn
3. Planning Commission Meetings will be held on the second Wednesday of each month at the
Spring Park City Hall at 7 p.m.
4. Administrative Committee Meetings will be held on the second Wednesday of each month and
time and place will be announced at regular Council meetings.
5. Police Commission Meetings will be held the second Tuesday of even numbered months,
(February, April, June, August, October, December) and time and place will be announced at
regular Council Meetings.
6. Fire Commission Meetings will be held quarterly and time and place will be announced at
regular Council Meetings.
7. Normal City office hours will be M-F 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Summer hours will be M-Thurs 7:30
a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays 7:30 — 11:30 a.m. commencing the Monday before Memorial Day
weekend and ending the Friday before Labor Day weekend.
•NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Spring Park
that on the following holidays the office will be closed in 2012: Monday, January 2, (recognized as
Resolution 12-04
the legal public holiday because New Year's Day falls on a Sunday; Monday, January 16th, Martin
Luther King's Day; Monday, February 20th, Presidents Day; Monday, May 281h, Memorial Day;
Wednesday, July 4th, Independence Day; Monday, September 3rd, Labor Day; Friday, November
12th, Veteran's Day; Thursday, November 22"d Thanksgiving and Friday, November 23rd swap for
Columbus Day); Monday, December 24th, (floating holiday); and Tuesday, December 25t ,
Christmas.
