CITY OF SPRING PARK
HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE SHORELINE DRIVE BEAUTIFICATION PLAN
AND APPROVING A SUPPLEMENTAL PLANTING INVENTORY
WHEREAS, the City Council directed the preparation of a Boulevard Tree
Ordinance as a means to protect the City's investment in boulevard tree plantings.
WHEREAS, in February of 2012, the Planning Commission informally
considered a draft version of the Boulevard Tree Ordinance and concluded that such
Ordinance should implement the directives of the City's Shoreline Drive Beautification
Plan and that existing boulevard trees should be documented prior to formal Ordinance
consideration, and
WHEREAS, the Shoreline Drive Beautification Plan and supplemental tree
inventory are included in the attached City Planner's memorandum dated April 25,
2012;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IF RESOLVED that the City Council of Spring Park,
• Minnesota hereby adopts the Shoreline Drive Beautification Plan and approves the
supplemental planting inventory as included in the City Planner's memorandum dated
April 25, 2012.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Spring Park this 4th day of June, 2012.
