A RESOLUTION BESTOWING
THE LIFE SAVING AWARD
FOR DISTINGUISHED SERVICE TO
EMERGENCY RESPONDERS
RESOLUTION NO. 12-19
WHEREAS, the City of Spring Park is supportive of all of its emergency
responders in providing the highest quality services; and
WHEREAS, during the morning hours of August 5, 2012, numerous
emergency responders were on duty with various agencies when they assisted with an
injured child at Lakeview Lofts in Spring Park; and
WHEREAS, the child's life was in jeopardy without the appropriate life
saving assistance; and
WHEREAS, numerous emergency responders and support staff, through
immediate action, courage, stamina, and fitness performed a lifesaving act by
resuscitating and stabilizing the young child until he could be airlifted to North
Memorial Hospital.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Spring Park City
Council bestows upon (Orono Police Officers) David McNichols and Larry
Tomcheck, (Mound Police Officer) Amy Swanson, (Hennepin County Sheriff's
Office Deputies) Tera Thom, Jayson Johnson, Tom Dale, Bob Stamm, Dan Fesler,
Rich Crosson, (Three Rivers Park District Officer) Kris Loebertmann, (Mound
Firefighters) Greg Pederson, Greg Palm, Dennis Woytcke, Bob Crawford, Mike
Foley, Bryan Gorman, Jeff Harrison, Shawn Hayes, Jason Maas, Darren Poikonen,
Jeff Andersen, Rick Williams, Paul Babb, Jeff Bryce, Aaron Crandall, Bruce
Gustafson, Roger Kryck, Jeremy Spader, (Hennepin County Dispatch) Teresa Josie,
and Tonia Klinkner the LIFE SAVING AWARD for distinguished service for their
successful lifesaving efforts on August 5t', 2012.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Spring Park, Minnesota at a
regular meeting held this 17th day of September, 2012.
