RESOLUTION 12-21
A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING ROCKVAM BOAT YARDS
FOR 50 YEARS OF BUSINESS
WHEREAS, for over fifty years, Jerry and Joyce Rockvam have owned and
operated Rockvam Boat Yards in Spring Park; and,
WHEREAS, throughout those fifty years, the Rockvams have continually
operated an outstanding establishment that serves the community of Spring Park
and the larger Lake Minnetonka area; and
WHEREAS, throughout those Fifty years the Rockvams have supported
local schools, churches and civic functions through their support and involvement;
and
WHEREAS, throughout those Fifty years the Rockvams have been a local
employer of many teens and adults; and
WHEREAS, throughout those Fifty years the Rockvams have dedicated
their services and efforts towards keeping Spring Park's beautiful natural resource,
Lake Minnetonka, clean, safe and viable for future generations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Spring Park would
like to thank the Rockvams for their hard work, endless dedication, and on -going
commitment to the City of Spring Park and the larger Lake Minnetonka area.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SPRING PARK ON THIS
1st DAY OF OCTOBER, 2012.
