It also includes a new kitchen sink, lavatory sinks, water closets, dishwasher and adding a bathtub for units 224 &324 The plans for the project named above have been reviewed for substantial compliance with the Minnesota Plumbing Code, as amended, apply, and does not cover the water supply or sewage system to which this plumbing system is connected. The review is limited to the design and data on which the design is based are correct, and that necessary legal authority has been obtained to construct the project. The responsibility for the design of structural features and the efficiency of equipment must be taken by the project designer. Approval is contingent upon satisfactory disposition of any requirements included in this report. Inspection: All plumbing installations must be tested and inspected in accordance with the requirements of the Minnesota Plumbing Code as specified in the Minnesota Plumbing Code 4715.2820 It is the responsibility of the contractor/installer to notify the inspection department when ready to schedule an inspection. Call the building inspection department at (952) 442- 7520 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Requirements: 1. All plumbing shall be installed in accordance with the MN Rules, part 4715.0320 2. The plumbing system shall be tested in accordance with the MN Rules, part 4715.2820 3. The water piping system shall be disinfected as per MN Rules, part 4715.2250 4. As per MN Rules, part 4715. 2110 Subp.2 All threaded hose connections must be provided with an approved safety devise. 5. As per MN Rules 4715.1800, subpart 9 the water heater must be equipped with a full -way valve located on the cold -water supply line near the equipment. 6. As per MN Rules 4715.2210 and part 4715.2230. Equipment used for heating water or storing hot water shall be protected by an approved safety device. 7. PVC plastic pipe used for the drain, waste, and vent system shall comply with ASTM Standard D2665, D2949 or F891 per the MN Rules, part 4715.0570 through 4515.0600. 8. As per MN Rules, part 4715.0810 solvent weld joints in PVC and CPVC pipe must include use of a primer which is of a contrasting color to the pipe and cement. 9. As per MN Rules, part 4715.0200 letter G the drainage system shall be provided with an adequate number of cleanouts so arranged that in case of stoppage the pipes may be readily cleaned. 10.The plans and specifications were prepared by a licensed master plumber. The plumber who has prepared the plans is the only one that can use the plans for construction. If another plumber is contracted to install the plumbing, they must submit their own plans and specifications for the project.
