Viewports shall have a hole not larger than 1-inch in diameter through the door, have not less than a 0.25-inch-thick glass disc and the holder is of metal that will not melt out where subject to temperatures of 1,700°F. Vapor retarder shall be installed over the exterior insulation being replaced and existing vapor retarder shall be replaced, or penetrations/rips resealed. 3. Exterior insulation replacement shall consist of batts that will completely fill the stud cavity(i.e. 4" batts will not be acceptable in a 6"stud wall cavity) 4. Smoke alarms shall be installed within bedroom and outside, in the vicinity of the each bedroom door. GENERAL ITEMS: 1.
