Joe Franson From: Patricia Levy <I1evy0@ao1.com> Sent: Tuesday, May 28, 2024 7:32 PM To: Joe Franson Subject: Fwd: You Deck Project. Attachments: Modification Form.html Hi Joe, Our HOA board provided the following "note". There are no requirements for decking material or color. Only for railing which will not apply for the lower deck. They also will need the attached form to be filled out for the Lower deck construction project. if you want to treat this as two separate projects, we can go ahead and get started for the lower deck. Just an FYI, Peter is not in anyway referring to Boyer or your crew when he referred to construction issues on our street. The contractors working on the `never-ending' project down the street from us was the issue and necessitated the changes to the rules. I don't imagine your group will have any trouble complying with these revised rules. Given it is taking a while for us to get started, let's try to get this lower deck done quickly so we are not disturbing our neighbors during peak season. We can push the upper deck project to later getting all the surveys, permits and permissions for it later. As it is, our deck is not safe to walk on and is putting a serious cramp in backyard enjoyment. H i Patty, RE: Deck refurbishing. West Arm Townhome Board does not require to know what decking material or color you wish to utilize for you lower deck. If you had a railing installed we would need to know what that material would look like and its color. Peter Lanpher Board Secretary West Arm Town Home BUT we do need you to fill out the attached Construction / Exterior modification request form. The Board needs approval of this. The Board does need to approve the time frame in which this will start and end. This is very important for the Board to regulate the need for street parking and its usage within that time frame. There are also information for you to inform your contractor of our Observances and Requirements on this attached form. Last year we had so much construction going on on our street that Speed was a big issue. Street Dumpster(s) and Contractor parking was also a huge issue. To many individual workers on a project took up all of our parking spaces last year so this needs to be regulated and discussed with the homeowner as needed by the Board. We also had an issue with our lawn service not finding parking space for them to do their weekly contract work for us. also have a full scale survey showing all of the properties if you wish to look at this for reference. Hope all this helps. Feel free to call. z Peter fyi. We have a face to face Board meeting next Monday June 3. If you have this form completed and given to me before we can get this approved immediately at that meeting. --- Peter H.
