WORK SESSION MINUTES
SEPTEMBER 21, 2026 – 5:00 PM
SPRING PARK CITY HALL
(Work Session discussion times are approximate)
1. 5:00: Sheri Wallace – Harrisons Bay Association Rain Barrel Program:
Sheri reviewed her presentation of the Rain Barrel program. She stated if the city is interested, they
would like assistance from the city to promote the program and possibly offer a discount to the residents
for the cost of the rain barrels. She will send Mike a note with language to include in the Winter
newsletter.
2. 5:20: Orono Police Chief Chad Stensrud - Welcome & Update: did not show up for work session.
3. 5:45: Water Tower Logo: City Administrator Anderson asked the Council if they would like to retain the
“smiley face” on the water tower. Council requested that it should stay. Anderson stated once the
Osprey leave their nest, work can begin - an application has been submitted to the DNR to ensure the
proper process is followed.

There being no further discussion, the work session was adjourned at 5:36pm.
