Box 101 Spring Park, Minnesota Dear Sir: Section 282.01 of Minnesota Statutes for 1957, provides that after the County Board has classified tax -forfeited land, the village council of the village in which the property is located, must approve the classifica- tion and the sale. I am herewith enclosing two copies of a list of tax -forfeited land located in the Village of Spring Park, which for identification purposes has been designated as List "577-C", February 25, 1964. The land described in this list has been classified by the County Board of Hennepin County as non -conservation land and the sale thereof has been authorized by said Board. Will you please have your Village Council act on this matter at their very earliest convenience and as soon as it has been acted upon, return to me one copy of the list together with a certified copy of the Village Council resolution. In order that we can complete preparations for the sale of tax - forfeited land scheduled for this spring, it is necessary that this classifi- cation list be returned by April 1st. RESOLUTION RELATING TO CLASSIFICATION AND SALE OF TAX FORFEITED.PROPERTIES WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Spring Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota, has received.from the County Auditor of Hennepin County,,Ki.nne- sota, a list of lands in said Village which became the property of the.State.of, Minnesota under the provisions of law declaring the forfeiture of lands to the State for nonpayment of taxes, which zaid list has been designated as Classi- fication List No. "577-C", February1n, 1964, and WHEREAS, each parcel of land described in said list has heretofore been classified by the.Board of County Commissioners of Hennepin County, Minnesota as non -conservation land and the sale thereof has heretofore been authorized by'said Board of County Commissioners: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by said Village Council, acting pursuant to Minnesota Statutes for 1957, Section 282.01, Subd. 11 that the said classifi-, cation by said Board of County Commissioners of each such parcel of land described in said list as non -conservation -land be and the same is hereby approved and that the sale of each such parcel of land be and the same is hereby approved.
