Attention: Pat Osmundson
Dear Ms. Osmundson:
You are advised that the Estate of Harry W. Quade, owner
of the premises at 4323 and 4325 Shoreline Drive, does not object
to the granting of a.variance to Mr. Vernon Olson for the construc-
tion of a garage five feet from his side property line. This con-
sent is conditioned upon Mr. Olson obtaining a survey of his prop-
erty line in order to definitely determine the location of that
line and the construction of the garage in accordance with that
survey.
Very truly yours,
J6yog L. Quade, Executrix
of the Estate of Harry W. Quade

RE: Vernon R. Olson
Rear yard set back variance - 7 feet to erect new single stall
garage.
Mr. Olson has removed the existing non -conforming structure and
is making application for a new structure.
The existing lot is an non -conforming use. Lot square foot is
4500 feet. The existing house is also non -conforming use, does
not meet' the City zoning for rear yard set back.
I could see for an allowance of a five foot rear yard variance
as to allow for minimal rear yard set back for fire safety egress
around the proposed new construction. Three feet is a rather
confined area for fire apparatus in which to function effectively
and safely.
A five foot variance would still allow for a 35 foot structural
set back for adequate off street parking. It is unfortunate this
lot is this small in area butI still believe in and for the right
of the individual to make use of as much property as possible
with the facts of safety in mind for the property owners and the
public involved in the area.
Respectfully,
Hank Truelsen

Dear Mr. Bartell
Bruce Williamson
471-1029
The City of Spring Park is having a Spring Clean Up day on
May 18th. It has come to the attention of the City, through
complaints, that the appearance of some of the properties on
Black Lake Road are unsightly.
There is a concern for the health, safety and welfare of the
community when these conditions exist. There is also a concern
that trashy conditions tend to lower property values and give
the appearance of an unkempt neighborhood.
In these days of environmental concerns, the City urges the
residents to take pride in their neighborhood and not allow trash
and debris to accumulate.
The City is providing a trash pick up, free of charge, and is
encouraging you to dispose of unneeded items. Join with your
neighbors in cleaning up the neighborhood and take advantage
of the trash pick up.
Sincerely,
Patricia Higus,
Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer
