In your deliberations on this application please refer to Zoning Ordinance
Section 3, Subd. a, 1 thru B.
Please be aware that the lot is 9000 sq. ft. (a lot of record). Existing
set backs are not in conformance:, lake.44.9.feet; side yard 4.5 feet.
The fence presently encroaches on road r/w by 9 feet.
The applicant is attempting to bring the property as close to conformance as
possible by removing the old garage and stoop.
Perhaps physically viewing the property would help your consideration of this
variance.
If approval is considered, provision should be made that the owner agree to re-
move the.encroaching fence at such time as the road may be improved.

To the City of Spring Park
The following are- the reasons, we are requesting a variance.
(1) All of the home improvements are to be done so we can stay
in our home. Our family size and needs have changed since
.we purchased the house,and we do want to stay in Spring Park
(2) The existing house and garage are out code now. They are too
close to the side property -and the front street property
lines.
(3) We are removing the existing front entry which will help
getthe front of the building closer to the required set
back.
(4) The music room and the bedroom addition are needed for our
family size and needs. The existing house has only two
bedrooms.
(5) The existing single car garage is in very bad str.uctual
condition and needs to be replaced. We have two cars and
the additional storage area .i-e. needed foT'__®siaers., bikes, etc..
(6) This.is the only logical area to add to the house looking
at the. existing trees, slope of the grade,and the existing
windows.
