CITYFORCE — CHEAT NOTES Running some of our end -of -the month reports, I noticed some common mishaps when data is being entered into the program. When issuing an over-the-counter permit, can you please be sure and fill in, at a minimum, the following sections: 1. Type — please note: • All over-the-counter permits such as reroofs, resides, rewindow/redoor, will start with "MAINT" — unless you are starting the process for a permit that will come to our office for review, you will NEVER. choose a permit that starts with BLDG • Residential plumbing and mechanical permits will start with MECH or PLG. Be sure to NOT choose a permit type that includes Commercial or Comm in the description. • A good rule of thumb, if the fees do not auto -populate, the wrong permit type was most likely chosen. By the time you see the fees, it is too late to change the Type. The permit will need to be voided. Do NOT choose the "Void" button: IM Application Date: 02/25/2020 Review Date: 03/09/2020 ksue D occupancy Final Instead, change the Status of the permit Status: i Approved • Type: tes - Please Select -- Received Application Zoning Class: Under Review Approved Use Type: Approved as Noted Not Approved Use Type 2: Closed ll=-On Type Use Type 4: Flold -Expired 2.
